I'm especially thinking of my 7 year old Tigger. The one with ADHD Combined. She needs an outlet. We can't afford gymnastics and the local basketball groups start in 3rd grade. Only she's in first.

I found an old Richard Simmons aerobics tape at our library book sale and we have a Paula Abdul Cardio Dance. She doesn't seem much interested in them.

I've been searching - Rainbow Resource has nothing, and Christianbook doesn't have much either. I found Praise Moves, but then again, it's geared towards adults.

Anybody have a recommendation - I need to help get her moving so she will stop or at least cut back on terrorizing the cats, her sisters, etc.

Help!!!! Eek

My girls age 6 (twins) like the Wai Lana kids yoga video. I got it at Wild Oats. She also has a website and you could order online.

Thanks, Belle, but no offense here..we don't believe in yoga. It comes from the Hindu religion I believe..

Besides, my 7 yo could never do yoga. It's not much as far as "moving" goes...

Try the website for kimbo educational. I remember it from my days as a children's librarian. It has a lot of exercise, fitness, and dance Cds and videos.

Thanks again! I had to google the company (that was easy!) and it was a neat site! I found a lot of cool stuff there for my kids and their issues, not just for exercising. One of them looked similar to my Richard Simmons video - only more geared towards kids! Ooohh, we're gonna have fun once I can get to ordering... Big Grin

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but when my kids were younger they liked the Can-Do-Kids videos. Now they're on DVD. Basically, they're exercises set to math facts, so they are moving their bodies and learning math at the same time. The web site is http://www.candokids.com/

Hi Lori,

Thanks! i just checked out the site and it seems great. My youngest also struggles in math, so this sounds like a real plus for her! Smile
Thanks again!
