We may be homeschooling soon and this is the curriculum I am thinking of using. I have a few questions and was looking for someone with experience using this curriculum.
I don't have much experience, but we did use it for a while. I think we used it for Bible, Math and Science. I really liked their Bible lessons, but my girls didn't like that it took a long time to get through them each day (about an hour, sometimes more). I don't remember much about the science. The main problem we had with math is that it had to be completely and technically correct or the computer would mark it wrong. They could have the right answer, but key in an extra space or something like that, and it would be marked wrong. That was very frustrating for my kids, but I guess for some it wouldn't be a big deal. Overall I think it is a good curriculum, but I wouldn't recommend using it for everything. I think that would just be way too much screen time!

Thanks for your input. It's funny, I guess it goes to show that every family is different, because I have friends who have used this and they said, it was too easy and took no time at all. I guess I will have to just try it myself and see how it works for us.
We are new to homeschooling and loving it! My eighth grade son is using SOS for his Spanish I course. We like it. We are looking at using the SOS curriculum for Language and Bible next school term for both my children. (My daughter is a bit jealous that she doesn't have a computer program curriculum.) I wouldn't use it for everything because I think they need to learn to work from books along with the computer. We use Saxon Math (love it!) and Apologia Science (all creation based - easy to read text - teaches self study - kids love it because of the easy to follow experiments).
