Do you do achievement tests for your kids? How often? Do you do anything to prepare them?

We did not test this year. We have in the past, usually once a year starting at about 5th grade. We don't do anything to prepare for them, though. I let the kids know when testing would be and what the schedule was, but that was it. No test prep books or anything like that. I haven't decided if we'll continue testing or not. It may depend on whether or not we stay members of the co-op, which is the only place I know of that testing is offered. I've never tried the standardized tests that can be given at home, but I guess that might be an option for us, too.
