Tonight is our last night of VBS, and we are taking down all of our decorations tomorrow night.

We were hoping another church or group would be willing to make a donation to our church for all of the decorations we have available.

I will provide a more detailed listing tomorrow night, but here is what I know we have so far...

- 4 extra large cactus
- 4 medium cactus
- 15 small cactus
- 1 large desert scene mural (apx. 65 - 70 inches tall depending on peaks and valleys)
- 6 wagon wheels
- 4 painted floor length western town buildings
- 2 unpainted floor length western town buildings
- 1 poster board "Register Here" sign
- 10 stick horses with noise
- 1 25 ct. "Certificate of Achievement" sealed in package with Cactus Canyon logo from Lifeway.
- close to 100 stickers of Cactus Canyon logo
- many materials from Lifeway starter kit
- some posters left from Lifeway
- at least 10 - 20 plastic western sheriff badges
- some recycled bag fused "loot bags" with plastic gold coins inside with "VBS 2008"
- some foam boot cutouts with "VBS 2008" and magnets on back
- lots of paper fence slats and posts
- many transparencies of Cactus Canyon logo, cowboy sillouettes, town buildings, western words for signs, desert clip art, etc.
- apx 10 cowboy sillouettes (some taller than others)
- Cactus Canyon audio cd
- Lg cut out letters for "Cactus Cafe", "Trading Post", and "Jail" Apx. 6 inches tall out of dark brown paper

Sorry guys! I forgot to put where we are located. It's been crazy this week!

We are located in Whitesboro, TX which is about an hour and a half directly north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

We also have children's cowboy hats, lots of bandanas, Bulletin Board cut outs with Cactus Canyon characters, and group signs made with sticks and pulled fabric. There is probably more... I'll post more as we gather it all up.

Just a side thought.... it took us weeks to decorate after months and months of planning.... we broke it all down tonight, and it only took 30 minutes to break it all down.... How sad!!

My church will be doing the Cactus Canyon VBS the last week of June. I really enjoyed your pics! I would love to make an offer on your leftovers-but the distance would be a problem! I live in WV.Your pictures gave me several ideas. Could you tell me where you found the graphics to do the cowboy silhouttes? I loved them and would've never thought of them.

I simply searched google and other internet places for silhouttes... I put them all in a WORD doc and printed them onto a transparency. We used overheads to trance them, and we then painted them black with regular tempra paint.

I am very interested in your decorations...We will be doing our Cactus Canyon VBS July21-25th this year. We are a small church in Quinlan, Texas. Do you still have some left?

I do have it all left still. We are hoping to have one group come get it all instead of piecing it out at this time. I have a few groups who seem interested, but no one has committed thus far.

- My personal director's book with tons of ideas (this alone took me hours and hours of planning to put together - should save LOTS of time)

- CD compilation of documents for VBS (I personally again spent hours putting these together. I have registration forms, prayer cards, church hand outs, clip art, decor pictures, instructions and how to's for making some of the decor, worker appreciation, Wanted posters, medical release, and many other misc templates/documents. Ready to do documents with little editting to add your church.)

- Faux campfire made from real wood
- Bandanas
- Lifeway Bulletin Board Kit
- children's cowboy hats (maybe 20 or so)
- Examples of appreciation treats
- CD of western songs

- We do not have the Lifeway posters left, but I do have a flyer template.
- Pretty sure the Starter Kit is the complete kit
