Our VBS starts Monday. I'm confused on how the first activity is supposed to work. When the kids pick their strip of paper at the first island, do they do the activity with the other kids that are with them at that island or do they intermingle with the other kids at the other islands?

The wave riders (children) complete the activity at the island they are on and then move to a different island. Worked good at workshop but did not have the time to do this in my VBX. I alsways try to do the activities that are Bible related such as the ones with the memory verses and leave ones not Bible related for recreation.

The game is a sort of a mini verison of OMC (Organized Mass Chaos). If you've been to a CentriKid Camp you will be familiar with OMC if not, the kids are basically doing everything at the same time. So if they need 3 people to join them, they can just grab any 3 people and complete the activity. Then move on to the next island. The kids may want to grab the 3 people and do what's on their card and then help those same people complete their task.
