Hi! There is ALOT of curriculum available for Children's Ministries. Some are geared toward "mega" churches, and/or are labor intensive. I write most of our own material for Children's Church. Sometimes I build on the current Sunday School lessons, using some of the activities they suggest but we don't always have time to do, add a skit, or puppet skit, teach the memory verse and reinforce the bible story. I try to keep it upbeat and FUN, rememebering thy have been in school all week and an hour of Sunday School and need a little high energy time. An example would be a lesson on the new birth. I created a Birthday Party scene, with balloons, banners, hats,"treat Bags", even a birthday cake. The children kept asking who's birthday it was-of course at the end they found out it was an "anybody birthday party".
