My dh is not very romantic...he has moments but is not characterised by it.

When we were courting I was staying at the YMCA where we were not allowed to have guys visit! Gavin and I had an argument so he arranged to have one of the girls smuggle tons of red roses into my room. I got such a surprise when I got home from college!

Recently we had our 16th anniversary. We have been together for 20 years now! We started cycling together just after Christmas on a Monday evening in the mountains above our home. It is so wonderful to be together like this.

For this Valentines day these are my plans: Romeo and Juliet is on at our local open air theatre, Maynardville. We are going to have a romantic picnic in the gardens there before the show then get a little Shakespeare in us!
