Last year I saw a list of things to put in a VBS teacher survival kit. It had a list of things like "rubberbands to hold it together" and other cute things.

Does anyone know where I can find this list or have any good ideas to start a new list?

I don't think they offer it this year because I have yet to find it too. It's usually on the directors cd with the teacher appreciation gifts.

There are adorable little cards on the director's CD. I put some together Friday for my association training team. Using clip art from "Decorating Made Easy" I put the following in there bag:

Extra Gum to thank you for going the extra mile. (Hebrews 12:1)

A rubber band to remind you to be flexible. Your service is for God’s glory.(2 Corinthians 10:31)

Kisses to remind you that you are loved. (1 Thessalonians 1:2-4)

Smarties to thank you for keeping the clinic on a roll. (Isaiah 40:31)

Matches and a candle to help you “keep ablaze the gift of God” as you lead your session. (2 Timothy 1:6)

Junior mints because God meant this ministry for good.
(Genesis 50:20)

A pen and pad to help you remember that you are “Christ’s letter...not written with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God.”
(2 Corinthians 3:3)

Our LifeWay store actually had great pen and pad gift sets for $1.99 with Bible Verses on them...they were not Themed for VBS, but they did have a verse on them. Our clinic ended today and I told them to use it this week to jot notes down about what they thought of clinic to prepare for our 'follow-up/feedback' meeting later this week. They loved it! Also you can by little goodie bags @ LW to put the survival kits in.

Way to appreciate your workers!!

Good morning. I found the Teacher appreciation idea with utilizing the differnet candies that you give something to your teachers/volunteers each evening. But I am having a hard time finding some of the candies that are at affordable prices. Can anyone help? You can find this information with the CD that comes with the administration book. I appreciate all the help and guidence that Lifeway provides.
Thank you to all who contribute as well.

There are many great ideas for teachers but what about for your directors and such. Ever considered ideas such as posters or books with pictures and info from your VBS week as a thank you. Call Nikki for more info about these ideas: 443-910-5425. Just mention appreciation ideas.
