In previous years, the Worship Rally DVD has been reproducible (or at least we thought it was). Why the change this year? We always copied it so our families (& VBS teachers) could learn the motions at home. I noticed today that is said it was NOT reproducible.
Hi Jill - You ask an excellent question. In the past, our copyright line stated that the Worship Rally DVD was reproducible "for use in the church" because it was designed for use in 3 different places - the music rotation class, the missions class, and the worship rally. We heard from many churches that it was difficult for teachers to share the DVD and many churches did not have the technical skills to duplicate the DVD for the other teachers who needed it. So begining this year, we provide a separate DVD in the Music Rotation Leader Guide and in the Missions Leader Guide, so there's no longer a need to duplicate the worship rally DVD.
Will the Missions and Song demonstrations still be on the Worship Rally DVD? Our church has combined Missions with the Worship Rally and we use Jeff's demonstrations to lead some of the songs. - I hope we will not need to change DVD's several times during our Worship Rally.

Thanks for the reply Bethany. The only problem I see with that is on the Music DVD, those leaders don't have the motions for the theme song. Next year, LifeWay needs to include the theme song on the Music rotation DVD.

My question about this is WHEERE is the demonstration for the theme song. As you have already stated it is NOT on the Music DVD, it is not on the Missions DVD. Is it on the Worship Rally DVD??? HelP!
In the past we've been able to duplicate the Worship DVD so that all the Worship leaders/Music Rotation leaders could practice at home (on their own time). Now that we can't reproduce it, it's limiting their practice time to group practice. It's too great a risk to take if someone misplaces that one copy of the DVD. I hope Lifeway considers making a change in their decision to limit copying for next year.
My teachers just need the demonstration for learning the song motions. Perhaps Lifeway could make a DVD of just the music demonstration and either have it cheap enough to buy one for each teacher (easiest way for us, especially for those who are unable to copy a DVD) or at least allow us to reproduce that one DVD - just for the teachers to learn. In fact, it would be nice to be able to buy one for each child to take home (some kids are still singing songs from previous VBSs) and include Jeff explaining the plan of salvation at the end. Perhaps an unsaved family member or friend would see it (or child seeing it again)and understand it for the first time.
Would it be possible for Lifeway to put the Theme Song demonstration on youtube? We respect the copyright laws, but I have a couple of youth helping me teach the music (I'm both the music/worship rally leader and co-director). They are learning the songs and motions from the music DVD, but don't have the theme song, of course. I also need the worship rally DVD to learn the motions, preview the nightly video and missions stories, etc. I can't see paying $25 for another copy of the worship rally DVD just for the theme song motions.
I was wondering about the worship rally DVD. Is the DVD in 3D . I know we have 3d glasses for daily bible lessons but do we also need them for for DVD Thanks
It would be great to reproduce the DVD, as I would like to give a copy to each Bible study lead teacher. This way they know what the kids are seeing in missions, music, and preview the drama,etc. This way they can discuss and review and have an intellegint discussion with the kids and answer questions parents may ask concerning what their kids are doing and viewing. I was sad to see "no duplicating."
