I like your new avatar......maybe you can put the fishie in your signature line like Bayou did. Then, you could still have BOTH.
The story was hilarious too. You all are so creative. I missed out on that gift. The Lord takes great delight in you and rejoices over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 |

That fishy “someone” (Malta) sounds like my friend Ruth and I. We had a very fishy summer when we first met. Now the whole “fishy, fishy, fishy” thing drives our families crazy.
The story starts the summer after I met Ruth. (3 years ago?) The pond by her apartment (on the campus of Elim Bible Institute) got very full and a bunch of fishys swam downstream into the drainage ditch, (pond overflow ditch?). The pond went back down, but the fish were stuck in a big puddle. Ruth’s neighbor kids were trying to rescue the fish, and we got tired of watching the kids, |

I saw me on another thread, but I can't see me on this thread. Guess I may have to give in and find a new avatar too.

How am I?? Well, my husband is out of town and I just woke up from a long winter's nap on the chair. I wonder if they ever found that guy those detectives were looking for a couple of hours ago on tv? My contacts are pretty dry in my eyes, if I squint real hard I can see the screen and my dog has taken over the couch but other than that......I'M BLESSED!
I just prayed and asked God to strengthen your body to overtake any sickness that might be stirring inside. Two of my kids are fighting the aches--headaches, bodyaches and throataches off too. I've never been on the forum so late before...it's kind of weird in a quiet way or is that; It's kind of quiet in a weird way? Well, it was nice talking to you, wish you were here to talk back to me, sleep tight! P.S. I just noticed when I hit Post Now...that it says 11:52 not here, it's 12:52...I think that means I turned into a pumpkin....or was that I turned from a princess back into the maid? Yeah, that's what I thought... 1. When you edit you post why do you have to pick another smiley face or you get a piece of gray paper for your icon? Why is that? 2. Why does my Suzie-fish icon not reappear correctly after I edit my posts? Questions, questions, questions...does it ever end with you Suzie?? Good-night! Hi Suzie
Just though I'd let you know that I'm winning for being up the latest here. Just finished helping the oldest son type an English paper...wonder what he'll do when he's in college next year? Hope the children are feeling better. I have two sick ones now. Scarlet aka Rosebud |

Suzie -- (and you, too Rosebud - we must have posted at the same time!)
Good to see another "night owl" My husband works nights a lot, so even when he's off (like today) or working days, we're still up late. This is actually still early for us! lol Now if we can just get our toddler to realize that it's not necessary to wake up quite so "early"..... Yeah, right! |

Have you ever noticed that children wake up early until they actually have to go to school? All of my children were early risers until they were about 5...kindergarten age. My youngest still gets up early, but the rest of them would sleep the day away if I would let them.

Wonder why that is? I used to be a late sleeper until I had kids...do you think that has anything to do with it?
hey, my typing is getting better as I start to wake up!! Suzie < |

Now Miss Suzie how are you going to get those children up in the morning if you're playing on the forum this late at night?

A little wave of panic just hit me! O.K., it's gone now. Yeah! I'll be fine....won't I? I rarely stay up this late anymore. Does that mean I'm getting old or does it mean I just require more beauty sleep? Please don't tell me it means both!
