I'm so busy with school, I don't have time to breath. Plus my mom just had breast cancer surgery and went through Hurricane Ike, so I was in Tx, for a while.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, I hope she's doing well. The hurricanes have really been terrible these last few years. We've gotten a lot of damage from them too.

Sometimes I laughed so hard my stomach hurt and tears were rolling down my cheeks.

My mom is recuperating. She found out today she won't have to have radiation until January, IF at all. They think they got it, but want to wait until she heals to do more tests!!

I'm still teaching 3rd grade at an inner city school. We have so much put on us teachers because we're "Title One" school, and this year is unbelieveable. I pop in every now and again on the forum. I DO miss the "good ole days", and old friends.

Good to see you, Muriel, and Nancy on here this week. How are things with you all?

How many of Y'all remember what a GODSTOP is?

I had about a million of them this past weekend. We went with my Mom, and 2 of my 3 sisters to a place, of all things, named "Devils Lake State Park", which is about 100 miles north of my hometown. It was most likely named this by the Indians who found it because of something called "Devil's Doorway"... See it below [I hope it turns out right]. It is So beautiful there. We all took a short, but steep hike while we were there last Saturday. And, the fall colors were at their "peak season", too !!! Praise You, Jesus, who even "paints the trees" for us to see!

Oh Wow! Good to 'see' all of you!!
It's a boring, rainy day so I'm just messin' around a bit and dropped by to see what's up back here at my ol' home place and wow! here's a thread about the good ol' days.
I've been in kind of a bad place lately, maybe what I need to do is drag out the old "Knowing God" study. It was a good one. But the best part was all the great friends I made!
