It's been so quiet here except for the discussion thread.

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th and hope all you ladies are having/had a fun day today.

It's rained on and off, if not just cloudy. We played a little outside, we went to Walmart this morning for a few things we needed, got some cat food so the cats won't eat our two pet caterpillars... just kidding. (yes we're up to 2 caterpillars! I'm weak )

We have an annual family reunion with lots of family, lots of food and fun. The kids come home worn out, sunburned - they always forget sunscreen - and water-logged. Usually we stay for fireworks, but did not this year. Our day was beautiful and hot here in North Central Texas. We loved it.

We have babies everywhere so playing with and loving on them was great fun! My mom wears herself out cooking. She prepares three or four entrees and at least 5 desserts every year. It is a great time and my mother's shining event every year to love on her family and cook great food!
