If you didn't think that our God really IS an "awesome God", take a look at this mountain picture.

It was taken by my Mom's primary care doctor, whose heritage is Iranian, but is now an American citizen who escaped Iran due to threats to himself and his family because he became a Christian [according to one of his nurses, who knows him very well].

He returns to his Iranian homeland to hike in these gorgeous mountains at least once a year, if not more, but he is very much aware of the fact that he is in danger of persecution every time he does so. But, he loves to hike [and this ain't no "amateur's hiking"] ...
