You can make copies of the new listening guide (from the new kit, or someone's newer version of the book), and theoretically use it, but what tiy have to be aware of is the page numbers and such will not match, so if you're in a group with some old books and some new just be aware of the difference. Could cause group disruption if every time they hit a difference they have to talk about it. Hope this helps.
