Sisters: For any who remember, I had a bad time this past summer after an experience at the women's ministry at church. Unfortunately, I have come to learn that I am not the only one wounded. It happened to other people.
Anyway, I plugged into a new church for me, a Baptist church, after 25 years at my old church. God is working in this whole situation.
I'm plugging in to the new women's ministry.
I'm going to be taking a course on systematic theology and Bible study methods, among other things.
Also, some of you mentioned the impact on my husband (who is not a believer). Well, since my inlaws death one year ago, he is changing in huge ways. And I feel my new church is part of Got's plan in all of this. I got him to visit during a church Christmas function, and he met some people he really liked. The women's group really respects him, and wanted to meet him, which they were able to do.
Things are just different around here, and I can see God is beginning a new work in my life and my home.
It was not easy to move on, and it never will be.
As someone told me, you can say God intended this for good, all you want to but it still hurts.
But the hurt is being replaced by lots of excitement as I find new direction.
Anyway, I wanted you all to know and to wish you a joyous holiday and new year.
