I, too, would like to have the email. My email address is nancyl6451@bellsouth.net. Last year our directors, each day, gave the teachers a baggie with a "treat" inside. One day it was a Snicker with a note "Don't forget to "take time to laugh" this week. One day was
"Thanks so much for working in VBS. Allow Jesus to work through you and watch Him be a "life saver" to a child.". Ond day was a Twizzler with the message "You have been such a blessing. Keep up the good work, and don't forget to be "flexible" this week. The last day was an Almond Joy, "JOY" to the Lord, the work is done. Thank you so much for your service to Him. It has been an awesome week." On Wednesday, food was set up in a room and we would go when our kids were at recreation, etc. Different ladies in the church donated food and it was like a luncheon. It was great!!! You could also make up your own words for "Smarties, Cracker Jacks, Extra gum, a pack of flower seeds (You are sowing the seeds....). These are just a few ideas. Maybe you can use these. |

There are a lot of great ideas here! I have used many things over the years, and have lists of suggestions I would be happy to share. One thing I try to do is provide the teachers with a cool drink each day, in addition to other
gifts. One day it may be a Mountain Dew -with a note: Thanks for all you DEW-we couldn't DEW it without you.-A bottle of water with a label:Thank you for sharing the LIVING WATER with others. A bottle or box of Orange juice/ drink:ORANGE you glad you volunteered to help? |

Diane, I would love to have your ideas for teacher appreciation. I also use these ideas
