I have also been looking for some great teacher appreciation ideas. We have a very small church and my youth group is primarily teaching this year, but we have also enlisted many from outside the church to help, so we definately want to thank them and hope to get them to keep coming, as well as the kids. Thank you for your help!--Michelle--- e-mail momcolton3@yahoo.com

I'm having the same problem, my computer won't open publisher files.
Could you save it as a different type of file and resend it?
Thanks

If you are having trouble getting the ideas for teacher encouragement, I have a list of ideas from when I was director. Please send a stamped-self addressed envelope to Debbie Sellers, 1309 Hale Swamp Road,SW, Shallotte, NC 28470. I have already responded to five requests and I will be glad to send you the ideas.

I'm sorry, but I can't open publisher files either! Is there another format that I could get from someone?

Thank you,

I'm sorry, I forgot to include my email address.

This is for the teacher appreciation info in another format than publisher.
Thanks again!

This year the children are making Esther's bath salts on day two. I am making a larger size for my teachers as well as a snowglobe with the Arctic Edge logo inside. Then these things as well as certificates, thank you cards and such are placed into a canvas tote with their names on them.

Hi! This space looks way to small for my response , but I will go ahead. I have been doing prctical encouragement for many years. I will tell you what I have done this year at our church.

1st day
Thank you for getting the ball rolling for Vacation Bible School! We are glad your ball is in God's Court. We are blessed to have you around.

Crossroads Baptist
VBS Leadership

a double taped a gum ball to this note.

Day 2:
You are a real lifesaver for teaching the children God's word. Keep up the good work. We appreciate you.

Crossroads Baptist
VBS Leadership

I attached a single lifesaver to this one

3rd day: Teamwork is what makes VBS work. Thanks for being part of the team. May God bless the time you spend investing in the lives of our children.

Crossroads Baptist
VBS leadership

I attached a snack size 3 Muskateer bar to it with doubled sided tape.

I will close this off in case I am on too long. I will write days 4 and 5 in my next e-mail.

I think I lost a message, if it does not come up soon I will retype day 4 and 5. Oh, well
Other ideas are as follows:

1. Give each teacher an apple and say We love you to the core.

2. Give them a star can be a sticker or something else and say a star to remind you that you set a shining example to our church.

3. Give them raisins and say "We are raising up a leadership team. Come join the fun,

4. Give them pop corn and say our group is popping with excitement! Come be a part.

5. Give them a coin and tell them to remember "in God we trust"

We have had a wonderful time at our church. I hope each of you are having a fun time of fellowhip in the Lord together.

I am praying for my children to have a more Christ like character, to have a more indepth relationship with God, and to be a fruitful laborer for Jesus Christ.
What are you praying for yours? if you use this ideas it would encourage me if you told me.

I have many other ideas if you need more.

May God bless you richly.

Glorygrin

If it comes up twice, Oh, Well!

Day 4

The children were smiling, laughing, singing, and dancing. They were having such fun in the Lord. The Bible tells us laughter is good medicine. Praise the Lord! Let's keep them wanting more of Jesus. We have all been blessed. Serving the Lord with gladness.

Attached to this card are jolly ranchers.
