I am a director for a pre-K VBS room at our church. One of the teachers in our room is constantly taking over, sneaking around, and dividing the other teachers in the room. I do not know wjat to do. I do not want to make it into a big deal and hurt feelings. On the other hand, it is really becoming a problem.

wow...that's a heavy duty problem there. i remember starting out in preschool...trying to fit in, and all. it was a bit hard because i was younger, and i wanted to help everyone... and go from room to room searching for problems to solve.

finally, someone had to take me aside, and, with a sweet spirit, let me know that i needed to stay in my own room, and get to know the kids there.

unfortunately, that's not the case with your teacher...i can tell. perhaps you can give her more to do? find out where her strengths lie, and put her there? distract her....and point out nicely that she needs to get back to her section?

I would suggest giving her a task that will keep her busy!
