Great question, timshambuger. We are actually in the midst of getting communication out to purchasers this week, so if you have pre-purchased, you should be getting something soon. Our original release date of December 2004 has been delayed due to unforeseeable technical issues. We expect to have it ready for use in January and will notify purchasers via email when it is available. We will also post it on the community and web site when it is ready. Our goal is to provide a top quality product that will be a valuable resource for you and easy to use – therefore we felt it was in our customers’ best interest to hold the release until the technical issues have been resolved. Thanks so much for your patience – we’re almost there!

Is there any update on when the online tools will be ready? What about the sample pages that it mentions on the site? Also, do I have this right? - the $29.99 is for a membership allowing us to run the software off of your website? And how long is the membership good for and will the data be transferrable from one VBS to another?
Thanks |

Great questions. I don't have a firm date on release yet. We are hopeful that it will go out in the next two weeks. I will make a posting on the web site and in the community when we have a definite date. You are correct - the $29.99 is a subscription price that allows you to run the software from our servers. The software is web-based so you don't have anything special to install on your computer. As long as you have an internet connection and a web browser, you can log in and use your VBS Tools Online from anywhere. The purchase price is for a one-year subscription. The data will be archived so that you do not lose it. We realize the value in you being able to access it after the fact. However, I havn't seen that portion if it yet so I don't know exact details on how it works. There will also be a way for you to export data files. This way you can export the data you need from VBS Tools and import it into other apps you use, such as Excel, etc.
