I am searching for rubber wrist bands that have the word "courage" embossed or imprinted on them. Can anyone give me any ideas on where to find them?

I found some bracelets on orientaltrading.com that come in a group with other sayings for $32.95 for 240 bracelets (IN-80/6085). Some of them say "Courage" but I'm not sure how many of them per package. There are some other neat ones that say Walking With Jesus (IN-36/1420). There was also an 800 number on the website where you can place an order to say anything you want. The minimum order is 500 and there is a $75 set up fee. They are $4.99 for a pack of 24, or $3.99 when you order 6 or more packs. I haven't seen these bracelets personally, but they look like the ones my kids have.

There is a great discussion on sign in procedures that has a lot of great ideas about keeping kids safe during the week!

Bracelets and name tags go a long way in making sure we know what kids are 'ours' but the bottom line is that it is up to us and our volunteers. They need to take the time to know each kid, to do head counts and to go over safety rules (stay with the group, let us know if you need to go to the washroom, etc.)

I'd encourage you to check out that discussion for more ideas. Or better yet, I'll start a new discussion today and people can give you their ideas!
