I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem, but I thought I would give the heads up. During the week we use the all of the VBS songs during our Worship Rally as well as during our family night. The Worship Rally CD only has a slide show with the theme song, pledges, motto, scriptures, and a few other songs. I went to the website and downloaded the PowerPoint’s for the songs I didn’t have. When I started trying to put everything in one big power presentation that is where I started to have problems. The best thing I figured out is that Lifeway has copyright protected the PowerPoint’s that are available on the website because whenever I try to copy and paste or do an insert slides from file…I get blank slides. If anyone knows how to or has an idea of how to get around this issue please share.

why not use the video of Jeff Slaughter performing the songs instead of the slideshow for the music? That way they aren't just learning the words but the motions at the same time, and you don't have to mess with the power point for the songs.

alane001 - I'm not sure why you are having this problem. I'm not aware of anything being protected - I was able to do these on my personal computer. The only reason I can think of that it isn't working is that the words (which are white) are being pulled into a powerpoint with a white background. If that's not the case, post here again, and I'll make sure you get the files you need.

Using the DVD's is a much better choice than the powerpoint. We also play the DVD when kids are coming in to the worship rally, and when they return to the sanctuary to wait for their parents to pick them up. Seeing Jeff do the motions appeals to everyone, even the pre-schoolers.

The main problem we had with the PP was that the music was saved as one continious loop with the Slide Show. If the slides got off from the music and we tride to click on the correct one, the music stopped. So we downloaded everything into ProPresenter from the Enhanced CD and had to load the songs seperately from the Music CD. The Theme Song PP was not on our Enhanced CD so we downloaded it from the website. I highly recomend ProPresenter as a great tool for your VBS AV presentations!

Hi! I am having the same problem as Alane. It seems like I am able to edit and copy the PPT which came on the CD, but when I try to copy "Let My Actions Match My Passion," "Jesus Is," or "My God is Real" which came from https://vbs.lifeway.com/vbs2008/yourvbs/downloads_more.aspx?id=543 into the larger PPT I just get white slides. I am able to copy the large PPT into one of the smaller ones, but not visa versa. I WAS able copy copy the corrected version of the Pledge to the Bible into the main PPT, but not the songs mentioned above. I there there is more to it than just having white words on a white background (the colored backgroud missing) because after I copy the slides in and they are all white, I try to edit them and there seems to be nothing there to edit. Help!

Hi me again! I figured it out. The answer is:

To retain the original design of the copied slides, click the Paste Options button , which appears near the pasted slides on the Outline or Slides tab in Normal view, or in the Slides pane, and then click Keep Source Formatting.

and I found that at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA012302421033.aspx
