Has anyone imported data yet from last year? Our attendance size was around 1500 and I am still debating whether to bring in last year's data or just start from scratch again. Any thoughts?

Hey cyndilee, my recommendation would be to just start from scratch. There are a couple of things that are not ideal when importing your data. For example, once you import all of your data to 2006, it looks like all of those are registered for 2006. There is no indicator for 2005 or 2006. I think with that many in attendance, it will really muck up your data. We do know that this is an issue and we have plans to change it for 2007. Plus, I don't really think it's asking too much to have someone fill out the registration form again. It's a simple form and only takes a few minutes to fill out. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks for the reply. We are thinking of just starting from scratch, but I wanted to get some other feedback. I know it only takes a few minutes to fill out the form, but I will also spend a lot of time reentering hand filled registration forms and it is somewhat frustrating that I know they went last year and I have to do it all again. I was happy to see the family feature. That was one on my list from last year I requested to change! I am sure I will have others! If you need feedback from a large church, I am available! Thanks again for all your hard work!
