We're doing Game Day Central June 8-13th and would love any ideas concerning your Kick-off and family night. Would appreciate any help and would covet your prayers for this grand opportunity in sharing God's precious word during this time! Thank you so much! Ness
The biggest thing that will get your parents in on family night is to make sure the kids are featured. Put them up on stage, performing the songs and having a good time. One idea is to have your meal as a tail gate party theme for Game Day. Grill out and maybe just have some footballs and soccer balls to kick and throw around outside to give your workers a chance to build relationships with unchurched parents. The biggest keys I can give you to parents's night is blanket it in prayer, make sure the kids have an active role, and make certain the gospel is presented to the parents! Also consider whether or not your church does sports activities and include them in on your Parent's night festivities. Be sure everything flows quickly so your kids do not get restless.
