Hey everyone,
I just got the promo video for the Arctic Edge VBS and before and after every video clip they had a really cool video clip where the logo was brought in by piece. I was wondering if any church is making an intro video like 5 seconds long just before we begin. I would LOVE to have the one on the video. If this is at all possible anyone please let me know!

I have made a video loop of the 3D animated logo used in the intro (something I think would be really cool for Lifeway to offer). I made this last year with the road trip sign and projected it on a large screen used as a backdrop - much cheaper than printing something that large, and it was animated!

I will try to find a way to post this somehow to download. It will be easy for me to make the inro you are wanting as well - I never thought about using that, but I think I will this year.

It would be nice if Lifeway provided the cool 3D animations to use in this manner instead of having to edit our own...any Lifeway video producers reading this??

I have posted an Arctic Edge Video intro on my church's VBS website. It is the intro that leads into the DVD menu and cut before the menu shows up. You can download it at:

Just right click on the "view" link under the ArcticEdgeIntro and choose "Save Target As."

I will warn you, it is a DVD quality mpeg-2 file which is large (16MB), so it will take awhile to download - don't even try it without a broadband connection! Once you have the file downloaded, you can burn it onto a DVD to be used in the worship rally.

I have a looped version of the animated video as well, but it is very large. I don't know that I will be able to offer it.

Lifeway! Fun 3D animated intros, transitions, and backgrounds would be a very cool thing to offer!!!!!!!!! There are some of us that want to use more media in VBS!

Ok, so here's a great tip. There's lots of worship software out there, like SundayPlus, right?

Now there's a new one called Freepath. That video clip plays right there next to Powerpoint files. The Artic Edge lyrics PowerPoint slides all show up on the screen. This is way better than the worship software out there, and it's only $149!

It even plays PDF files and sound files, so we had sound effects playing when the kids came in. Also, flash files and all kinds of stuff. It's made for schools and companies, but it works better than Poweroint all by itself.
