Another suggestion for 2004. The name tags that support the LifeWay theme are always eye-catching and fun, but the space provided for the name is so small it is nearly impossible for my old eyes to see the names. Larger tags, or at least a larger area for the name, would be wonderful.

I would like to see you spend some time improving your video for next year. The last two years have not impressed us. You have obviously spent a lot of money on sets and scenery, but the message is lost.

I think you should invest in writing scripts so that there can be "LIVE" dramas for the kids. The kids love "wacky, larger-than-life" character ... and live dramas grab the kids attention way more than videos

I know that the drama we've written this year is a huge hit with everyone who's seen it.

Live dramas are great! You might want to check out the Worship Rally Guide and the Musical Score for drama scripts. They have new dramas in them every year that go along with the theme. =0)

Maybe some animations for the video people to work with. The Truth Trackers teaser video had a really cool computer animation at the end that made for a great end for the walk in music. It would be nice to have a set of animations, and/or stock footage that goes with the theme.

My suggestion for future VBS would be to have better preschool music. Preschoolers love piggyback songs and can learn them very quickly. More of these with the VBS themes would be appreciated.

does anyone know where we could obtain inexpensive hapi coats (waist length cotton kimonos) for VBS staff to wear for 2004 Rickshaw Rally?

I personally like the videos and their use in presenting the gospel but it just seems that within the past couple of years it's been very difficult to understand the actors. This is no doubt due to the use of the live recorded audio instead of a looped track with no exterior interferance. The fact that our sanctuary is large and echoey does not help at all so we've made the decision to show the video in the Bible Study classrooms this year in the hopes that the lack of a room echo will help the children understand the actors a little better.
