We will participate in a parade in early June for our town's annual festival to promote VBS. I was also thinking about passing out water bottles at our firework show (our VBS is July 10-14). What other ideas do you have for promoting VBS in the community?

Last year we had VBS in June and we tried to send home a flyer through the schools. We were successful in one school although the others wouldn't allow us to send anything home. We were thinking of standing in the Car Rider line and passing out flyers, but with VBS in July, I'm afraid many parents will forget.

You could have someone make up some signs for you and put one at the entrance to the major subdivisions near your church. I'm thinking we are going to do that.

We are also going to participate in the local 4th of July parade and hand out flyers that have info about VBS on one side and a registration form on the other side that can be mailed in to the church.
