Hello! I am having difficulty finding the japanese symbols. I was wanting the symbol for Jesus, faith, and pray. Does anyone have any ideas?? If you have those could you e-mail them to me? My e-mail address is aprilb77@hotmail.com[/EMAIL].
1) There is no Japanese symbol (properly called "kanji") for Jesus. There is a kanji for "God" but it does not refer to the Christian God.
2) I do not think there are words that match exactly what you want in "faith" and "pray" as written Japanese, and Chinese for that matter, can have several kanji or symbols that represent a relatively similar word.
3) Try about.com and put "japanese" in the search box.
Please, I urge to you learn about Japanese culture and language before using kanji to express yourself, it is bad form to use an aspect of any one culture without at least some knowledge about it.
I would suggest this for the other cultures of Asia as this site's layout seems to have influences from China, Japan, and Korea.
