I am Deaf and I have been wondering about the guy that does the signs for the music videos. I remember him from the 2007 VBS as well as this year's VBS.

I want to know more about him, like his name and how he got into this.

I have been doing VBS music for quite sometime, and the guy on the video is Jeff Sluaghter. He is also in a Christian band, but I am unsure how or even when he hooked up with lifeway, but you can do a search on his name and find out more information. hope this helps

CTerry, I know Jeff has been doing this for quite a while (at least 6-7 years) and always does a great job! You could probably contact lifeway and they can put you in touch with him. I also know that he is always at the preview events in Nashville and Ridgecrest, if you could get to one of those you'd probably get to meet him.

I have met Jeff twice at LifeWay VBS events. He is just as wonderful in person as he is on the DVD. He works with a sign language interpreter to make sure the signs are correct for his songs. He has even encouraged users in past years to change anything that may be different locally. It's been a while since I looked, but I believe his web site is simply jeffslaughter.com.
