Hi! Here's my suggestion: make one big CD that covers ALL of the music for VBS. You can even make it expensive. Here's why: in adjusting your curriculum to meet our church's needs we do a "blended" Worship Rally (some older kids music, some for younger), since we have a large Preschool contingency and like all of our kids to come to Worship Rally. In order to use the songs I've chosen from your program I have to purchase THREE CDs (Preschool, Kids Music, and Worship Rally). It would be so helpful for our sound crew (and my sanity) if we could have ALL of the music on one CD, once with voices and once without (or all split-track).
I agree with T Shaner about the music CD. Also, I would like to add, for the Artic Edge, each of the different songs for each day that are on the DVD with the motions, only 1 was on the Worship RAlly CD - it's gets very confusing & un-handy. Thanks for listening.
I agree that it would be nice to have everything on one CD for the Worship Rally. We always change up the Worship Rally by using different songs from day to day. The kids really enjoy singing the daily songs more than just during the Music rotation. I do think it would be nice to continue having the daily songs and the preschool songs available on seperate CD's though. Many churches use these as gifts for the kids during the week or sometimes families request to buy their own to listen to.
I agree the music needs to be simplified. We use the Theme song and the daily songs for our worhsip rally. So the Worship Rally CD is not very helpfult his year. Plus we are having to make powerpoints for half of the songs. I had to chase down three diffent CD's to try and figure out which CD's would be the best for what we needed. I agree that one CD with all the music and split tracks would be so nice.
It does get a little confusing to have so many CDs and DVDs. I can't ever remember which is which. But I love the options and flexibility it gives. Last year we did our Worship Rally pretty close to the way Lifeway suggested. This year we are doing the daily song in there. I insisted that we keep the ABC song in there though. I think this really helps the kids to understand the process of becoming a Christian. If I had to choose, I'd rather have the flexibility and options than just one CD.
One CD with all the music would be great, for all the reasons mentioned. The Split track of the musical should be last. It would be nice if the words for all the songs were in both Powerpoint AND a format for transparentcies. In the past, I have had to type up the words to all the songs, and figure out where to put the repeats and how many times. Small Churches may not have equipment for Powerpoint, but most can borrow a transparentcies projector. The Font needs to be one that is easy to read from a distance.

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not but I sure hope I can get an answer!
There are 3 songs on the Game Day 3's to Pre-K CD-Rom included in the Teacher's Pack that we would love to have in either split-track, sheet music, or something so the children can sing those songs for our church. Do you know if they are on the Pep Rally CD or offered somewhere else? I believe they are song numbers 10, 11, and 16.

Hey kgibson...I talked to the editor of the preschool curriculum and here's what I found out.
The CD located in the 3s–Pre-K Leader Pack is not formatted in split-track. However, the CD for the Music Rotation (located in the 3s–Kindergarten Rotation Pack) has been formatted in split-track to help you as your 3s–Kindergartners sing in church. One of the songs that you need, "Jesus Has a Job for Us" is on that CD in split-track. If you've not already done so, you might want to check out this particular CD. The songs there are easy to use for preschool performances such as church services and family nights.
The printed music for the songs that you have requested may be found on pages 54-56 of the 3s–Pre-K Leader Guide.
