Do pets count? My favorite Christmas funny happened a couple of years ago. My son called me when he got home (I'm not sure where I was) and the first thing he said was "Mom, why is the Christmas tree in the middle of the floor?" He went on to explain that when he came home, he found our tree had fallen over and was in the middle of the family room floor with lights, ornaments, and broken branches everywhere. Our cats were hiding and looking very afraid. After sorting it all out, we figured out that one or more of the cats had decided to climb the tree, and their weight had pulled it over. Poor things were terrified! You'd think they would have learned their lesson, but the next year they tried to do it again! Thankfully, they did not succeed.
