I sent in my letter of intent forms for my 2 sons and Vernon said they will not accept them. They told me because both of my boys received special ed services I have to fill out a different form. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Wondering what I should do. I am in contact with HSLDA and waiting on a reply.

Hi Andrea,
I am anxious to hear what happened. Is it just the wrong form? Are you going to continue receiving special services?
Please keep me updated on what's happening.
Blessings,
Christine

Christine,
everyone I have talked with is telling me this is not the case. The form I sent in is the only one that CT has. That is where I stand right now.

Hi Andrea,
Have you heard back from HSLDA?
Are you withdrawing the boys from special services too, or will they still be receiving some services at the school?

Christine,
At this time I am trying to go through my sons' doctor to have the services from the hospital. I will not work with the PS at this time. I have a meeting with their doctor on Thursday and pray that things will turn out alright.

Great news HSLDA has gotten back to me and the school system is backing off. I also have found OT, PT, and S&L gfor my 2 boys through insurance. Now I don't have to deal with ps at all.
