Please pray for me as a first time director. I will also be teaching and our church as we have a small church and it has been 3 yrs. since we have put on a VBS. Also pray for the workers, children and parents of the children that God is going to bring.

Cathy, I pray that God will bless your VBS and all the children that will be attending, workers and parents. Being a first time director can be kinda scary, but you will do fine. I remember my first year I was scared silly, that was 5 years ago.

I total understand how you feel, I am working with another woman for our VBS. We both are taking over from a VBS director who has been doing this for 10+ years. I will pray for you and your church. God will lead you to the right words and actions for the needs of your church.

I am leading a VBS training clinic for our churches in our association in Eastern North Carolina so check with your association to see if they are doing trainging for directors and leaders.
