Hi. I just wanted to ask everyone that can please pray for our VBS at Sharon Baptist.. We are a small church looking to re-grow and we are hoping that this will start with VBS and maybe recieve a few new members from it.. This is my first year so I'm kinda nervous, but I know that God's hand is in it and it will be O.K., Just please keep us in your prayers.. Thanks

Hi, our church is in a similar position, we are attempting to regrow after several years of declining attendance.
We'll be going on our fifth year of VBS and hoping that we'll get enough community involvement. Our church is completely without children right now and we would love to have more youth and their families in our church.
I know that with God all things are possible and we're leaving the program in His hands.

Same with us we are a small country church that a few years ago we were growing and growing, then we stopped and now we have been decreasing in numbers. Please pray for our church and VBS, the younger members of our church are trying to get out of the slump of "we have always done it this way or we have never done that" so we are praying for a GREAT! vbs this year to start us on the uphill climb, our church is Ruple Baptist in Haynesville LA. This is the 2nd year I have been director, last year I had a hard time getting workers, this year the pastor keeps telling me there are a lot of people that keep telling him they want to help, we shall see when it comes time to commit. Our VBS is July 10-14, please pray for us! Thank you in adavance!

Thank you for the prayers that were prayed for our church, we had an average of 62 each evening on Thursday we even had 70 and the Family night presentation was GREAT! Our canned good drive and offering topped any in the past several years. We even had 2 children accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, the first in 6 years. Thank You!

Your church sounds like ours. We have gone thru some painful times & lost a lot of members. PTL we are building up again under new leadership. For 6 months the only child in the church was a 3 year old. Sun we had 10 kids for children's church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our new pastor said the the 7 words he forbids anyone to utter are "we have always done it this way." LOL. I have seen a fire start in hearts of people who I thought were heart dead. We have had people volunteer to serve in VBS who have never volunteered for anything. God is so good

We also have a small church that is "rebuilding". We have only 2 children in our church and weekly attendance is 15-20. We had our first night of VBS last night and had 10 children and were thrilled, we have faith it will pick up as the week goes on, but if not, that is 10 more children we can tell about the Lord!! God Bless all the "little Churches" and I will pray for each and every one of you!!

Wow sounds like a lot of churchs are going thru this. I thought we were rare. We actually had 15 in church Sun evening about 3 times the usual. PTL

Our VBS starts Friday, July 21st. I am hoping to have a record year.

Our church is also going through some very tough times right now. We've had some of our best families leave us and honestly, when VBS
is over my family may follow.

I feel that I am not growing spiritually anymore under the current leadership. There are lots of other problems too but I won't drag them out on a message board.

Please just pray for us to have a great VBS and that we will be able to lead some children to the Lord.

We have our kickoff carnival tomorrow from 5-8:30p. VBS starts monday @ 6pm. I am not feeling well & am having a hard time walking. As director I have a lot to do. Please pray for our VBS & for my health situation.
