My husband recently became the Pastor of a small country church. I have a huge passion for VBS but the only child is our son. We really want to have VBS, including an adult class. The church hasn't had VBS in years but seems to want to. Please join us in prayer that God will bless us with courage to continue and some more childern to enjoy.

When I was growing up, I attended a small church in a village with two other small churches. The three churches of different denominations worked together every year to provide a community VBS. We serve the same God so perhaps check with other local churches to see if they want to work with you. The churches didn't have enough classroom space so worship rally took place in one church and then classes took place in different locations (3 churches and a small old schoolhouse). This works best if the churches are not far apart geographically. Just a thought to consider :-)
