Please pray for our VBS and our church as a whole. We must be about to do great things for the Lord because Satan seems intent on tearing us down. We have gone from being a loving church family who truly cares for everyone to butting heads and sniping at one another about the most trivial of things.

It has become so rancorous the only reason some of my VBS workers continue to work is because God told them to, they love me too much and they love the kids too much. Otherwise, they no longer feel they belong at our church. Even my own mother feels she can't work for me in VBS because of the interference of others.

We are all so hurt and miserable but we cannot turn to each other. Only the Lord is left and I try to remind myself that all things are possible through Him but right now I am so alone.

Pray that God gives me the strength to do my part to heal us and make VBS what it should be, the open door that leads children to Christ. And pray that Satan is bound from our church.

In Jesus' precious name I pray,

Amen.

Praying for you and your church. We Baptists must be doing something for the Lord because the Devil has come into our "backdoor" at church too. We are a small Baptist church but we have some "Adults that are so called Christians that are nothing but Babies that need to grow up". Adults that have been
Christians for years and years get upset over the least little thing. It's time that people grow up.

Please pray for our congregation too. We have about three people that are "babies" that need to "press on for the Lord" and get self out of the way.

Satan truly is working over time. I ask for prayer for my church also. We have been without a full time pastor for a little over 3 years now. We had an interim who past way while serving with us and another interim whom has just torn the church into. Please pray for our church pastor search committee, they truly have a hard job ahead. Pray for our VBS I know God will work in wonderful ways if we let hom lead. Pray also for my assistant, she is battling cancer for the second time.

Father above, I pray for every person and every church that is being harrassed by Satan. Lend the comfort of your Holy Spirit and allow us to do your will and work for your glory in VBS. We promise to focus on Jesus and reaching as many children as possible with your Holy Word. Amen.

Prayer should be at the very center of everything we attempt to do in our daily lives. Our church has some of the same problems, and I was so discouraged last year that I was ready to find a new place to worship, but God has made it plain that he does not want me to "run away" - this time I am not supposed to shake the sand from my sandals. I will be praying for you and your church. These words-from a song-give me strength: "God Is In Control" - repeat over and over, it helps!

Just remember this: You must be doing something
right in order for there to be an "attack"! That's what I was always taught. You're doing the right thing by leaving all your concerns at the feet of GOD. I'll be keeping all of your VBS's in my prayers...please do the same for me!
