Five years ago we had an average of about 70...that includes adults and teachers. Last year we only had an average of about 40...including adults & teachers! Right now we have 6 children in our church...but the children our out in our community, we just need to go out and get them. But we need people in our church with a desire to do it! There is church about a mile from us that we have thougth about inviting, they don't even have a VBS...thanks for your suggestions and prayers!

Three years ago, I decided to change VBS to evenings since most of our adults work during the day. This enables the men and working women to help in VBS and we also started an adult VBS for those elderly (and curious adults)and visiting non-members dropping off their children. The men are an inspiration and it gets the whole church involved which creates great momentum. Husband and wife teams work really well too!
