Hi Ladies,
The thread about selfish children got me thinking. How can we encourage our kids of all ages to serve? What ideas have been helpful to you in grooming a servant's heart?

Providing Family Service Projects could encourage children to serve. Parents being examples and spending quality time with their children while serving makes a big impression! Smile

As in many families, we have chores, or jurisdictions. Each child is responsilibe for an area in our home. They can ask for help but the responsibility is theirs and if the jurisdictions aren't taken care of satisfactorily, they lose priviledges.
We also have nearby grandparents who need yard work and house work done and loove to tryout daughters' latest cooking creations
We check in on our elderly neighbors and take them food
We visit the local nursing home
Baby needs me. Will post more later.
