Has anyone dealt with a lying child? What did you do?

um, forgive me for having to ask this but.....

Sorry, couldn't resist. Well, only one child continuously lied and so I had to get very strict. I am sure he still does but not near what it used to be. I've drug tested him, monitored his text messages as well as internet blog, etc. So far he's keeping himself out of hot water.

Lately my 7 yo has been faking being sick. She has overheard me lately tell someone that I can't always tell when she's sick and is deciding to take advantage of that. I can tell though she's faking it: she gets a little "bouncy" in her bed, when she does come out she doesn't complain about anything bothering her, isn't sniffly, etc.

I think it's because we are switching bedrooms in our home and it's upsetting her.
