I have a very sassy 10 year old daughter. She just began being sassy. She is also starting to physically develop, so her hormones could have something to do with it. I also have a very rebellious 7 year old son. I don't know anything about boys. NOTHING. He is so thoughtful, and caring towards everyone, but he is so determined to have his way. We have read Scriptures, we have read christian parenting books, we have tried everything we know to do, and I do see some improvement as time goes on but not very much. We also have a 2 year old. Between the behavior problems and the sassy talk, and just the stress of day to day life, I am seriously not doing well. I think that everything is fine, and then all of a sudden I am in tears. I want my son to obey so that he can be a happier boy. I want my daughter to speak with respect to her father and I. Help!

Hi always_learning,
My heart feels for you! It can be so hard to know how to handle these things!
Have you read any James Dobson books? What have you tried?
