Hi there,

We are cat lovers in this household, and we have always had at least 2 kitties in the house to be our "companions".

Well, it has been 48 hours now since our oldest cat, Snickers, [who is almost 14 years old] has been lost or stuck somewhere.

If you don't mind, would you please pray that she will either come home on her own, or that we will at least hear if something has happened to her??? Our kitties are more like family to us... And, even our other 2 cats seem to "miss her"...

Thank you.

In Christ's Love,

Jennifer

Smile

I am so glad she is home. I have 2 cats that live in the house and they are my babies. I am a cat person and they just melt my heart.

Hi Ladies,

Since late last week, our dear kitty, Snickers, has had a very bad case of congestion and possible pneumonia, but the vet. refused to diagnose it as that, even though we heard "rattles", and my Mom is a Registered Nurse, so she understands these kinds of things.

Well, we chose not to go camping this weekend for 2 main reasons: 1) Snickers being so ill; and 2) I really feel the need to go to my "home church" near my hometown, during my Senior Pastor's last Sunday. Frown

Well, the reason we didn't want to leave Snickers here with the neighbor lady visiting to feed and water the 2 who stay home this time is because Snickers was breathing very frequently and not seeming to be able to get any air into her lungs, regardless. Well, at approximately 9:35 p.m. Central time, I went down to the basement to check on Snickers, and she had somehow gotten herself to the middle of the basement floor from the closet.

And, I noticed that she was still breathing through her mouth, as she had been doing all day today; but this time it was different. There were spaces of time between each breath. So, I yelled up to my Mom to "Come down here, now, please!" And, shortly after that, our precious Snickers took her last breaths, and passed away ... Frown

So, like Miss Beth says, "May the Lord have mercy on our precious pets and bring them into Heaven, too."

And, tomorrow will be the 5th month since my dear Daddy's passing, so hopefully, he can hold our dear Snickers in his arms and tell her where she is...

In Christ's Love,

Jennifer

Jennifer, I'm so sorry you lost your baby.
I had to put a fifteen yr old cat down this June.
She only loved me, of all the people on earth I was it (tolerated my dh a little bit).
She apparently had a tumor and in one week had stopped eating and drinking (but not playing).
I know how it feels, may God comfort you.
