Just wanted to let ya'll know that my grandson has been re-tested and, thank You God, does not have cystic fibrosis. He is a carrier of the gene, but only has one copy (it is a recessive gene--so you have to have a copy from each parent), therefore, he will live a normal life--at least as regards CF

His parents will both be tested before they decide whether to have any more babies, esp since even if both were carriers, there would only be a 1 in 4 chance that any baby would be affected. Hopefully, they will give me at least a couple more grandbabies before they are through.

So, thank you SO much for your prayers. You are such blessings in our lives.
