My youngest son attempted suicide last night. By God's grace, he did not succeed.

My hands are tied as regards helping him, but I am still allowed to pray. I'm not going to try to tell you how to pray, I just ask that you do pray for Chase--as you are led.

In His grip,

Teresa

Teresa,

I'm praying for all assignments and attacks of the enemy against your son to be stilled. That he would seek and search out God at every turn and the The enemy would be bound from any further assaults on C in the name of Jesus. I pray that he gets the help he needs - medical, psychological, and spiritual...

I also pray for strength for you, your husband and your family. That you all would be protected and that God's favor, mercy and peace would be poured out upon you all. Standing with you in all things. LOVE YOU!

Oh, Teresa! My heart hurts for you. I will be keeping you and Chase and your family in prayer...with much thankfulness that he did not succeed.

Bless you! May you stay aware of the Father's loving arms tightly around you...

Love,

I'm so sorry I missed this! Yes, I will pray for Chase. And I'm so, so glad he did not succeed in his attempt. That alone tells me that God is watching out for him.

I knew somebody who tried to commit suicide around the time I became a Christian. After accepting Christ, his sister and I traveled to visit him. A few years later, he accepted Christ, and told me that he credited me partly for his deciding to accept Christ, but gave God the glory of course. That man is now in heaven, as a few years ago he did die of a heart attack at the age of 40.

I'm trying to encourage you - I know my friend is in Heaven and you know I wish the same for your son. I will pray that God leads godly people to him, as well as any kinda healing he may need.

((hugs))

Thank you for your prayers and your love, Ladies. Right back at 'cha!

Short version:

Son, still depressed. Not yet willing to seek help. Please keep praying.

Our shop is going to have to move after 24 years in its location. This may well be a blessing in disguise, but is creating a lot of work as we look at other locations (there aren't any that meet our criteria), as well as moving costs, advertising (we don't advertise now b/c we have more than enough work--but we'll have to advertise when we move), the value of our remaining lease (30 months worth), transferring phone, internet, etc., buisiness interruption during the move, yada yada. We are also looking at building our own shop to see if that is a more viable option. Anyhow, please just pray for wisdom.

On the POSITIVE side:

Eldest daughter due to deliver our first grandbaby in mid-August. We can hardly wait for his arrival! I get to watch!

Youngest daughter will be baptized on her birthday: Aug 3rd! Yippee!!!!

Overall, we are busy trying to keep up with everyone and everything, and trusting God to keep us safe and sane. Praying for wisdom in all things.

Bless ya'll,

Teresa
