I can't stop crying. There's this youth/family pastor at my church I've become friends with. Anyway, I noticed with my emails, he'd send a copy to a woman who I'm also in contact with a lot. I didn't feel comfortable and really let him have it.

Make a long story short, he's most likely pretty upset with me right now. And I've been crying for hours. I misunderstood - turns out both of them have been working together to help my family since we stepped into that church. I didn't know that was why he was doing this. He wanted me to only call him - and I did call but of course he wasn't available and the secretary wouldn't have me leave a voice mail. So I emailed him and sent a copy (with his knowledge)
to his colleague.

It's been 3 hours and I can't eat or drink anything. I haven't heard back from either of them - I apologized and even offered if they'd like to both come over and we could try to work everything out. And I just can't stop crying!

Please pray about this situation? Thanks.

If you have asked for forgiveness and truly mean it then you are right with the Lord. Just know that "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and called according to His purpose" (Ro 8:28)

Just go to the Lord with it and He will help. He is an everpresent help in a time of need.

Just trust Him.

I will pray that this situation will work out fine and all will be restored.

I still haven't heard from him and even since wrote a poem about how I'm feeling.

Thanks for your encouragement and prayers. I'm still feeling so broken over all of this. I wish I hadn't approached things the way I did. But I've been hurt by other churches and it's easy for me to strike back without knowing the whole truth. Please pray we could get together? I really do want to!

Update: looks like I'll be in contact with the pastor next week - it has been a very busy week and knowing some of the schedule, I could believe it. (my 9 year old could've been involved in some of it had things worked out right - outside of the misunderstanding)

Tough situation to be in...praying for reconciliation and that you'd get to the point where you just feel okay about the whole thing.

Good news! He called yesterday. And we both apologized to each other. So everything's okay now. He will be calling me again soon. I have a lot going on and we'll be talking here and there over it. He says he thinks highly of my family and the feeling is definitely mutual.
