What does your hubby do to help around the house? How can we encourage our spouses to help more?

Mine fixes something for our Tuesday dinner every week. He fixes it Monday evening while I have the girls at gymnastics, then leaves it in the refrigerator so all I have to do on Tuesday is put it in the oven, or start it in the crockpot in the morning. We have co-op on Tuesday so we're gone most of the day, so it really helps me that I don't have to come home at 4 PM and fix a meal from scratch. He'll also help with the laundry as needed (finish folding what I have left piled on the bed when he gets home) and he helps with kitchen clean up some evenings. I don't really ask him to do any more because he's gone 50 hrs a week and the girls & I try to have most of the housework done before he gets home (notice I said "try", not necessarily succeed).

My hubby is very good at helping. Actually, I'll admit I'm very blessed. No, he's not perfect. He does complain at times. I'm a certified "messie." But at least I'm keeping up with the laundry..
I can't tell the girls to clean their room because mine is just as bad, if not worse. Red Face
He has tried to help me, but he sleeps in his office (he snores).

Only those who know us well come into our house. Occasionally someone has come in on an emergency (the animal control officer!) but he didn't say much about the house. He was more concerned about our injured cat at the time, which was the emergency..

Sorry I'm rambling a bit. Yes, my dh is good at helping. He's better than me!
