Please keep my son in your prayers. He is 20 years old and lives in Florida (we live in Texas). When we moved here last year he chose not to come with us, but is staying with friends as he cannot afford to live on his own. That was "okay" for a while. Now he has lost his job and is having trouble finding another one. He's also sick, so isn't up to going out job hunting right now. AND, he's been putting off going to college and I'm afraid this will just be one more excuse for him to not go again next semester. We truly believe he needs to move back home, and that maybe God is using all of this as a wake up call for him. But for now, he still thinks he should stay in Florida. Please pray, first and foremost, that he will hear God's voice and follow God's will for his life. If God's will is for him to stay in Florida, then he needs to find a job and get settled wherever he is meant to live (and I don't think living with these friends long-term is where he should be). If God's will is for him to move back home, pray that his heart will be receptive to that and he will come back willingly. His room is waiting for him, and our whole family would love to have him back here with us, but we want him to be happy about it, not come because he thinks he doesn't have any other choice. If he doesn't find a job this could resolve itself very quickly, but it could also drag on for a long time. I really appreciate your prayers!

Praying for your son, Lori! I will also pray your family will have peace about whatever decision he makes - that your son will do what God wants him to do. ((hugs))
