Well, I intended to post about one thing but thought I might as well make it more of a prayer list
We are getting a slow start to HS ~ i am nervous b/c it is our first year and I feel behind already We are still getting organized into our first home/ there have been more time/ money consuming projects to do then we expected Are baby born 7/7 was premature healthy but slow in weight gain she is 3 mos and only 8 # My dh will loose his job around the first we so need him to start a job that will pay decently My main request is for our home to become more spiritual My dh is willing to start reading J. Richard Fugate's book What the Bible Says About Child Training Please pray that in all these changes and challenges we learn new skills and have new opportunities to schedule our home activities in a well balanced way thank you jacinda |

Hello Sweet Jacinda,
You have many issues on your plate. I pray you will keep God first and see how he will work out all the other details of your lives. That he will reward your faithfulness and great will be your peace. Blessings, Christine |

What a wonderful prayer request. That should for ALL of us.
Jacinda, as I've posted before, homeschooling in the early years is manly ready-ing your children to learn academics. You're not behind. Make the Bible your textbook and teach them truths, manners, moral absolutes. Academics will come later, now they must be prepared to learn. Remember "The fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of knowledge..." Proverbs 1:7 married 20 years mom to eight http://blessedmuch.multiply.com/ |

Thanks Quiver and Christine I really am trusting Him more again. I know it's way more than I can handle alone so why even try right. He wants to bless us I just need to stay out of the way, Right.

Well It seems that the plant will still need some of it's employees until next year around this time. Each meeting they've given us more info.
The concern now is that they are making it clear that they would rather employees move on and just let temps take their place BUT this is really unfair b/c that would mean the employees would have to give up their severance pay. We have to make a decision about timing. We of course could use the severance pay but what if the company gives less and less work hours toward the end and it would just eat up all the severance pay anyway. Right now we are thankful that he is getting a 6 day week with overtime most weeks. I don't think it will be possible to move away to another plant location we just don't have the budget for such a big move regardless of the remote possibility of selling our home or any wind fall of money. So I plan to live as though we will be here for a number of years. I also came to the conclusion that we have already invested so much in this home that we need to live in it longer to get something out of the investment. I just pray we follow any opportunity the Lord sends our way and intends for us to have. Michael is still thinking of how he might get more training. Thanks for asking! Jacinda |

BTW
The Lowe's lead was based on false info. Mike did not qualify for the position they wanted some one with more experience |

Having wisdom teeth taken tomorrow at 7:45
Still nervous about the iv solutions that are given for oral surgery and bf ing I tried to get the exact name of solution long story but was not able to and won't know until tomorrow morn. I'd love to have that off my chest but God's ways are not our own My sitter ? that I thought was a friend is not willing to sit even just Lina and Timmy for a few hours while we travel and have the procedure done. I called her twice this week first time to ask again if she was willing to sit and gave time date - she gave no concrete answer and second time I called she didn't answer/ return my call. I thought we had a decent visit on Thanksgiving but she has been stand offish and not reciprocating friendship so I guess we offended them in some way? They aren't christians and we aren't perfect so who knows...... It's gonna be real interesting to see how it works out. We will be the first appt in the office I'm hoping everyone will be too sleepy eyed to get too rowdy. please pray for us... around 6 am that we are able to get ready and be in office by 730 am we have to travel 45 min away. |

Hi Lucinda,
I wish I were closer! I would take you to your surgery, watch your kids, hold your hand, let you take a nap, cook your dinner and rub your feet! Giving you a cyber-hug! Let us know how it went. Blessings Christine |

wrote this last night. Thanks Christine!
Okay !!!! It wasn't so bad! Last night I was praying .... ANd I realized that I was mainly uncomfortable with the idea of coming out of the Anastasia ( sp) and being groggy for a day so after my practically new breast pump appeared to be broken I decided to NOT take more than the locals. When I got to the office ( which went well I had all clothes laid out etc) I was on time and asked about making that change the receptionist said the dentist might not allow a change but she would convey my request, He asked if I was sure I wanted to do them all at once and I said yes. He made sure I knew what I was getting into and I told him I really didn't want him to be uncomfortable but this is what seemed best especially for the kids. So we went ahead and it really wasn't that bad, He thought I was a saint and said as much and I just was speechless thankful that the Lord helped me be that calm and co opperative. After i got home I paid attention to caring for the bleeding and took arnica and extra strength tylenol sat on the couch with kids and watch a really good movie. As the numbness decreased of course the pain was more noticeable but not unbearable ptl I had scrambled eggs and soft sourdough bread and then I was able to sleep for 3 hrs with Sophia and nurse! garlic and colliodal silver are my friends right now too. Sophia and I are about to share a big baked yam for dinner. Just have expected bruising stiffness..... Thanks for all your prayers. Just continue to pray Mike can get some real sleep tonight and I wake even more refreshed! |

Just an update ....
First I have a praise about HS we found out about Ambleside and Old fashioned Education site and this is a real answer to prayer concerning the financial side of HS several children. As the links for so many online works of literature are given through these sites as well as group support with curric. scheduling examples. This type of edu is what I was leaning toward and seems to be the most cost efficient too. PTL ! Sophia is growing and is doing everything for her age pretty much. Lina is actually more in need f prayer as she has had the terrible jealousy ... even though our boys were also close in age Luke never did the emotional out bursts and biting/ pinching " mean " acts against his bro. Lina loves Sophia passionately but has also had anger toward her too. Lina is VERY two right now! Mike seems to be more sure of a long term lay off coming around March. We are making adjustments with our financial responsibilities now. Dec. and Jan. have been real tight and we've seen the Lord help us so the coming months should be just as faith building! The couple of hopeful job possibilities haven't proved to be the "one" for him. Please pray for my dh in particular as he is the one that will have a lot of stress. All for now |
