Hello all,
I have been a negligent moderator lately. My life has been busy, full and troubled. It is a summer I would be happy to have skipped!
First, one of our teens was diagnosed with a mood disorder. The diagnosis explains a lot about her behavior and she has been doing better on medication.
Then, my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He had a radical prostatectomy on 8-1 and they didn't get all the cancer, which has been described as "aggesssive." He has his follow-up PSA test soon. If it is under 1, he will have radiation and has a good prognosis. If it is over 1, we are talking chemo and who knows what else.
Our family has been stressed and pulled and we are weary, but we are not defeated. God is in control and He is walking us through this wilderness and He will untimately use it for His glory. As His will is being revealed to us, we covet your prayers.

Our Father, please watch over Christine & her precious family. Guide the doctors to correct treatment. Bless the family with peace & let them feel Your presence. Give them the strength needed. In Your name we pray, amen.

Christine, I will pray for you husband. I can relate to you my dad has/had prostrate cancer. He is fine now but the doctors keep a watchful eye on him. His PSA has stayed under 1 so we are greatful to the Lord. He also had kidney cancer and had to have a kidney removed. He has had to have no chemo Thanks to the Lord!!! It is dificult and I know what you are going thru.
