Thanks for the welcome.

My daughter of 11 is also horse crazy. She even has a horse lovers newsletter she sends out to about 60 other horse lovers worldwide! (Its on my site)

Homeschooling in SA is relatively new with us seeing the first pioneers heading for college. It's a lonely road for most teens still - with few in their age bracket.

Our government made it legal a few years ago and have still not properly formulated the laws around it so we are in a fortunate position to educate as we want.

We use Sonlight as our main program but are very delight directed in our approach influenced by Marilyn Howshall but my heart and the "flavor" of our hoemschool remains with Charlotte Mason.

Hello mcgowan97. God is the greatest resource you have - he will lead you. There are a lot of resources and specific questions I'd be happy to help. If you look at my profile you'll find the email. Put Lifeway post in the email and I would be more than happy to guide you. There are state organizations, groups, and conventions depending on where you live.
