I have been homeschooling for 2yrs. My son is very accomadating, and will do whatever he is asked without feedback. Whether he is enjoying the lessons or not remains a mystery. Any suggestion on how to find his bend/ Confused

How old is your son? Does he do better at some things than others? Or respond differently to some methods than others? Even if he will do whatever is asked of him (I can't imagine one of mine never giving an opinion!) he may be giving you subtle hints as to his preferences.

I am afraid I cant be much help because I have just began to homeschool. However I would simply ask him what he enjoys. I have found that geting a child to talk is the best learning expierence they can have. I have always talked to my kids about their likes and dislikes. Offer something he likes as a reward for doing something he does not!! It works for me.

my son is 10, he enjoys sports more than anything. I can honestly say, that he doesn't complain. If we were gone just hangin' out he would be thrilled! Saxon math he seems to enjoy, but language arts he tolerates. Sometimes I think that I am so afraid I will mess up, that I may be missing the signs.

Ask him, "If you could study anything you want, what would you study?"
Or, "If you could do anything you want with your free time, what would you do?
Just some thoughts.
Blessings,
Christine
