With the school year well underway, I'm wondering how many of us have made course corrections. Maybe you planned to do math 5 x a week and are doing it 4 x instead. Or maybe you've tweaked your curriculum some other way.

I think what we're doing would best be described as "survival mode"! With the house on the market school gets interrupted a lot, either for house showings or cleaning to get ready for one. Two of the girls are in co-op classes so their first priority for school is to stay caught up in those. I figure we can catch up on the rest of it after we get moved. The things that they need my help with have suffered the most. But I just have to remember that this is a temporary situation.

I'm not working on spelling so much, doing a lot more reading aloud. Going more toward keeping noteooks but still having trouble getting the older children to write reports. I'm re-thinking this area.
Haven't worked on our timeline as much as I wanted but hey, it's only the first nine weeks. STILL behind in Algebra...
